An Ideal Exhibition will be held in Aix en Provence (southern France) within the Méjanes Library from June 15 to July 6, 2019 with a program of cultural mediations around the books of Hervé Tullet.
This Ideal Exhibition will be composed of interactive modules: tables broken down into puzzles or memory games, wall of participative creation, invitation to the movement, game of differences, textile paintings, recycling of drawings … These modules will be created from drawings of children of 18 months to 4 years in the workshops Patouilles hosted by KID & Sens, parent-child activity club located in the center of Aix en Provence.
This Ideal Exhibition is part of the project BABY ART [workshops | expos | charity sale], supported by the association ARTY MINOTS, which continues its reflections on the emergence of creativity with a common thread for this 2nd edition: “Same / Not the same” or how to walk together while being all different.
As part of the BABY ART project, painting workshops are offered to children aged 18 months to 4 years, every Wednesday, from January to June 2019, with speaking time for parents on the theme of creativity. The conditions of workshops allow to accommodate children with disabilities.
In parallel with the Ideal Exhibition will be held at the ESDAC Gallery (School of Design, Applied Arts and Communication in Aix-en-Provence) an exhibition of paintings by professional artists inspired by a child’s drawing ( as a snub to school exercise often asked children to “paint in the manner of …”). These paintings will be sold in pairs (adult / child) in favor of a charity: the association Lueur d’Espoir for Ayden, which supports families of children with Krabbe disease (and supports a research program conducted in Canada).
